About Us

Chicora District provides services to Horry, Marion and Dillon counties.

There are over twenty-five Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, Venture Crew and Exploring units within the district serving more than 500 youth with over 250 volunteers contributing their time to the success of Scouting in our areas. .

Anyone in Scouting, or interested in serving Scouting is invited. This is a good chance to meet other leaders, get upcoming information on events, and compare ideas. The meetings usually last an hour with training and information specific to Cub Scouts or Scouts BSA following.
