Contributing to the Indian Waters Council, Boy Scouts of America, creates opportunities for youth to gain memorable experiences and become instilled with values, and skills that will help them develop into the future leaders of our nation while also preparing them for the challenges of today. The Indian Waters Council is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Your donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Please contact our Scout Executive, Doug Stone, for more information.

If you or your company is interested in learning more about supporting Scouting, contact our Scout Executive, Doug Stone, to discuss the best options for you.

By contributing to Scouting, you will have a profound impact on America. More youth will experience the program that will further instill values and character in their moral fiber. Your gift truly will have a direct impact on our world. Imagine if all of our leaders today lived their lives according to the Scout Oath and Law. The Scouting program is delivered to youth directly through their individual packs, troops, teams, and crews. These units are supported by our Districts and Council volunteers and Professionals. Invest In Tomorrow – Donate Today!

Heritage Society

Indian Water’s Council Heritage Society recognizes those who want to preserve the tradition and values of Scouting for generations to come. The Heritage Society is a program for those who desire to include Scouting in their estate planning or make gifts to the council’s endowment fund. Gifts may be for general use or restricted for special purposes or programs.

Indian Waters Council hosts a Heritage Society Dinner annually in the fall to recognize the friends and supporters of the endowment fund. All Heritage Society members are invited.

James E. West Fellowship

The James E. West Fellowship is a national recognition for individuals who contribute $1,000 or more in cash or securities to our council’s endowment fund. This contribution should be in addition to your annual Friend’s of Scouting gift, as annual operations is always the priority. Organization or individuals may also contribute in honor of someone. The award is presented to the honoree with a certificate, a lapel pin and a uniform square knot.

Scout Memorial and Tribute Fund

The Scout Memorial and Tribute Fund allows donors to honor someone on a birthday, special occasion, anniversary or in memory of someone. These gifts remain in perpetuity to ensure that Scouting is available for the youth of our future generations. Donations to the Scout Tribute Fund become part of the endowment fund and are tax deductible.
For more information on the Heritage Society, the James E. West Fellowship or the Scout Tribute Fund contact Doug Stone, Scout Executive, by email or by phone at (803) 750-9868.
