Indian Waters Council is sending a coed contingent of 10 youth to Scotland's 2018 Blair Atholl International Jamborette in Perthshire, Scotland.
The Blair Atholl Jamborette is Scottish Scouting's premier international event. It brings together over 1,000 Explorer Scouts and Leaders from all over the world for a 10 day camp in a picturesque corner of highland Perthshire, about 2 hours north of Edinburgh. Activities during the Jamborette include climbing, abseiling (rappelling), horseback riding, castle walks, canyoning, mountain rescue, water sports, bushcraft, team challenges, and much more. Since this is an international event the youth will be able to make friends from all over the world.
After the Jamborette the youth will have 4-5 days of home-stay adventure with Scouts of Scotland families. Then we regroup for more touring of Scotland. Additional touring in Scotland will be planned by the youth contingent.
